Tomorrow

Promises made,
going nowhere.
You say things without thinking,
never bothering to check if it will be okay.
Asked on Monday,
now it's Sunday.
Tuesday came,
then Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and even Saturday.
Sure baby tomorrow,
tomorrow is here.
Every time the same story,
not today...tomorrow.
Endless tomorrows,
when will it be today?
Just this once,
can't tomorrow be today?
Tomorrow will turn into today,
tomorrow, but never today.

This is lovely and filled with so much truth. I think that any people, who do that, should stop and look to the mirror for a sec, 'cause - if you ask me at least - promises are something you shouldn't make, if you can't keep them. Of course that happens to everybody now and then, but enough is enough.
